I have a file i downloaded as CSV (here it isit has dates, and they seem to be in two different formats, but ultimately they are mm/dd/yyyy (american). I want them to be dd/mm/yyyy (english). I've searched these forums and tried the following: - Simply changing format to dd/mm/yyyy. Doesn't work. - Text to columns, then concatenate them back into a date (and format that date). It looks like it's worked, at first, but when i sort that colum,n - Telling excel that column A is american date format, then in B2 using formula =A2, and making B2 the english date format.
